How to Apply for an Emergency Passport

You can apply at a regional office by making an appointment by calling the 24hr automated system at 877-487-2778. If there are no appointments available then you must use a Registered Courier. These are private companies that are only authorized to do emergency passports if applicant is traveling within 14 days or 28 days if a foreign visa is needed.
